Nice new diner. I ordered steak and eggs and it was delirious. I couldn’t finish the steak. It literally filled me up. Literally. The coffee and orange juice were good as well. Well recommended but a bit too pricey.
The food was very good ????. The waiter was polite and attentive. Some of the diners are closing in the Bronx. I don't mind traveling to New Rochelle for good food and drinks ????.
This was first time at this diner. There diner near me closed. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the portions are very satisfying. I wish I would have tried this diner sooner. I found my new diner.
What is interesting about this diner is that it is built and run by the DeRaffele Manufacturing Company. What's so interesting about that? I'm glad you asked. DeRaffele Manufacturing, founded in 1933, built these icon American diners across the country. And they were headquartered here in New Rochelle. The diner itself is retro, built in 2014 and close to the famous and much loved Thru-way Diner which was demolished in 2008. History aside, the diner serves up Americana at its best. It is still a great stop off of I-95. The menu is classic American food, drinks if you like and at an affordable price. The service is very good and the place is kept clean.
Amazing portions. There is a lot of space so don’t worry about having to wait— usually short. Breakfast and burgers have not let us down. Shakes are really well-made

Always great diner food, no matter what we order. The cheesecake slice is huge, easily big enough for 2 and very tasty, somewhat dense. The farmers omelette, chicken fingers (and burgers, eggs Benedict, everything..) is great. We always get seated right away no matter how busy they are and the service is fast.

Got there for dinner and sat at the counter. Cristopher was my waiter and asked me for a drink order. Unsweetened iced tea. Chicken noodle soup and bagel all the way.. A cup of chicken noodle soup is always filled to overflowing. All the stuff in it has to be homemade. Lox was very pink and fresh and there was a ton of it on the bagel. I forgot how good the bagel all the way was. Also, how plentiful it's presented. I took 1/2 bagel home with Lox and all the fixings.Sal E New Rochelle
